Vintage 1884 Colt 45 SAA
The 1884 Colt 45 SAA is a single action revolver made by Colt’s Manufacturing Company and also known as the Peacemaker, Model P and the Colt 45. It is better known as the Single Action Army. The Colt Peacemaker has been offered in over 30 different calibers and various barrel lengths. The Colt 45 has a revolving cylinder holding six cartridges. Standard barrel lengths include 4 3/4 inch, 5 1/2 inch and 7 1/2 inch. Its overall appearance has remained consistent since 1873.
